  1. The website pks.szczecin.pl does not automatically collect any information, except for information contained in cookies.
  2. Cookies (“cookies”) are IT data, in particular text files, that are stored in the Service User’s terminal equipment and are intended for the use of the Service’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the terminal equipment, and a unique number.
  3. The entity placing cookies on the Service User’s terminal equipment and accessing them is the Service operator Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Samochodowej w Szczecinie Sp. z o.o. with its registered office at ul. Heyki 4, 70-631 Szczecin.
  4. Cookies are used for:
    • adjusting the content of the Service’s websites to the User’s preferences and optimizing the use of websites; in particular, these files allow recognizing the Service User’s device and properly displaying the website, tailored to his individual needs;
    • creating statistics that help to understand how Service Users use websites, which allows improving their structure and content;
    • maintaining the Service User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter the login and password on every subpage of the Service;
    • remembering information in the shopping cart.

Within the Service, two main types of cookies are used: “session” (session cookies) and “permanent” (persistent cookies). “Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored in the User’s terminal equipment until logging out, leaving the website, or disabling the software (web browser). “Permanent” cookies are stored in the User’s terminal equipment for the time specified in the cookies parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
  6. The following types of cookies are used within the Service:
    • “necessary” cookies, enabling the use of services available within the Service, e.g., authenticating cookies used for services requiring authentication within the Service;
    • cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect fraud in the area of authentication within the Service;
    • “performance” cookies, enabling the collection of information on how the websites of the Service are used;
    • “functional” cookies, allowing “remembering” the settings selected by the User and personalization of the User interface, e.g., in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes, font size, website appearance, shopping cart settings, login status.
    • “advertising” cookies, enabling users to provide advertising content more tailored to their interests.
  7. In many cases, software used for browsing websites (web browser) by default allows storing cookies on the User’s terminal equipment. Service Users can change cookies settings at any time. These settings can be changed in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser’s settings or inform about their placement on the Service User’s device each time.   8. The Service Operator informs that restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Service’s websites.
  9. Cookies placed on the Service User’s terminal equipment may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service operator.
